The realism of this album brought a ridiculous amount of commercial success. Much less high energy than the tracks from his previous album Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z…, this album showed genuine reflection on his life and career path as an artist along with shining light on some of his personal struggles with paranoia and self-loathing. The subject matter and tone of this project were a lot more serious and introspective than anything he had previously released. This album was nothing like the music that gave him his “thug life” gangster image and street credentials. People only seen the drugs and ghettos and never the pain and deep emotion. He was an adovate for the entire poetic nature of a generation, however the violent aspect of his music is usually magnified and the poetic nature was understated. Tupac's short and climatic life is usually summerized and rarely deeply considered. Many people wish to critize his works however usually have not read or tooken the time analyze some his greatest works. Unlike the popular and mostly ignorant thoughts projected by society, Tupac was very intelligent educated and at the age 17 had most likely read more books than the average first year Ivy league student. He seemed to captivate millions with lyrics and poetry so believe to be so inspiring that few could compare. Many people people have identified with retelling of tragedy, struggle, violence, death, poverty, racism, revolution, and overall the imperfections of society.

Why do you think all the defenitions below say stuff like 'Greatest Rapper Ever','The leader of this rap shit' etc. At time of posting, Ghetto Gospel is going to be released soon. It's a sad fact that such a great talent died so young, but his music will live on for generations to come. A lot of people still reckon he's alive, but I think he's dead. Seriously, if you don't listen to 2Pac already, go out and buy an album of his. I listened to the album constantly for 2 months counting. Straight afterwards, I got the album my friend had got me, '2Pacs Greatest Hits'. My friend played it, and I felt myself completely lost in the music, a sensation I'd never felt with listening to Eminems music. It's not that I hadn't heard of him before, I just hadn't really listened to his music.
Looking for someone new to listen to on my stereo, a friend of mine introduced me to 2Pac. Rapping is something that black people are destined to do. I'm white myself, but I realise there are some things which certain people are destined to do. Then one day, I realised, "This music is shit! Why am I listening to this?"
